There are two techniques I love using in achieving a dimensional effect; 1/adding slices of foils in the interior part of the head on a diagonal, using one to two level’s lighter or darker, or the same color formula and play around with the developers. 2/ applying the desired root formula and when combing through the hair you take small zig-zag sections apply your root formula to mid-ends, next zig-zag section use different formula (staying in the same shade range) comb through and lay the hair down on top of each other without any foils separating the two colors apart, repeat this sequence throughout entire head.

Red Hair Color On Fire
Red hair color is taking on a new tone for this spring and it looks like even women with natural red hair color are or want to go even redder. And we know throughout history a redhead as always been considered passionate, mystical and hot tempered which is the best inspiration for this season’s trend in red/coppery hair colors. It has a unique combination of copper red and red-reds, a vitality of tone on tones melting together giving off the illusions of flames. Redheads are bringing up the heat this spring, complimenting the soft pastels and nude tones in clothing, and of all the hair colors out there, a beautiful red head of hair gets the most second glances because their hair color is so visually stunning.
